Often described as the "best job" at Camelot, the Winner Advisor plays an integral role in ensuring our winners have a winning experience that is joyful, celebratory and relevant. The Winner Experience Team sits within The National Lottery Business Operations and is responsible for delivering best-in-class customer experience and supporting lottery winners – regardless of the size of their win.
Why work at Camelot?
We currently turnover nearly £7 billion per year - it may surprise you to know that we do this with a workforce of only c.750 people. This means that every one of us has a part to play and make a difference.
Camelot changes lives for the better - not just for the many millionaire winners we create but with the £30 million a week we raise to thousands of good cause projects across the UK.
National-lottery.co.uk is one of the UK’s top e-commerce sites - this is measured by web traffic and we have almost 9.5 million registered players. We also operate four of the UK’s biggest FMCG brands including the iconic Lotto and EuroMillions.
How you'll make a difference
Our amazing reason for being is to celebrate wins with our lottery winners and guide / support them every step of the way. Recognising that it is a truly life-changing event and different for everyone, the aim of the Winner Advisor is to deliver a winning experience that is joyful, celebratory and relevant for every winner and their family – tailored to their individual needs.
What you'll bring to the table
You will be great with people and passionate about delivering an excellent experience. Having strong morals and integrity are a must; often you will be the only person who knows about a lottery winner and you will need to keep this to yourself in order to maintain winner anonymity. You will have excellent judgement and the ability to make good decisions as you will need to assess what support a winner may need to ensure they have the best winning experience.
You will need to travel to secret locations across the UK [this role will be based at head office in Watford with travel to London, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire predominantly.]
You can build and maintain effective relationships with the people you meet along the way – lottery winners, colleagues, lawyers and bank managers.
You have high standards and excellent attention to detail.
What we’ll give you
We look after our people. There’s a competitive bonus and benefits scheme, 26 days of holiday goodness and a rather generous pension scheme. Thinking about your health? No probs - we’ll give you full private medical cover and 50% off your annual gym membership. Finally, we keep it fun.
